Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in a similar way, and this policy covers them too. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Others stay until they expire or you delete them.

These cookies keep you signed in, protect forms from misuse and remember your settings. The site can't work properly without them, so they don't need your consent.

• Session cookie: keeps you signed in and remembers what you were doing. [Name and lifetime to be confirmed with the developer.]
• Security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN): protects forms from being submitted by other websites. Lasts as long as your session.
• "Remember me" cookie: keeps you signed in on this device if you choose that option.
• Cookie choice (laravel_cookie_consent): remembers your cookie choice for 12 months.
• Payment cookies from Square or Stripe: set by Square's card form or Stripe's checkout page when you pay, to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
• Google sign-in cookies: set by Google only if you choose to sign in with Google.

If you say yes, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our public pages, such as the home page, articles and the directory. It helps us see whether our Meta ads lead people to Materia+, and it lets Meta show our ads to people who have visited. Meta sets cookies such as _fbp and fr, and Meta's privacy policy applies to what Meta collects.

We never load marketing trackers:

• inside your account
• on booking or payment pages
• during video visits
• on any page that shows health records, care plans, check-ins or messages

We don't currently use analytics cookies. If we add any, we'll list them here and ask for your consent first.

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept marketing cookies. Until you say yes, they stay off. Saying no doesn't affect bookings, video visits or anything else on Materia+.

To change your choice, use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you may not be able to sign in.
