This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is incorporated by reference into Homeopathic Healing Inc.’s (“Materia+,” “we,” or “us”) Terms of Use and governs your use of the Platform and Services (as defined in the Terms of Use). Any capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings provided in our Terms of Use. BY USING OR ACCESSING THE SERVICES AND/OR REGISTERING WITH US, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS AUP AND THE TERMS OF USE, UNDERSTAND THEIR TERMS, AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THEM. You agree not to use the Services in any manner that is unlawful, infringing, tortious, or harmful; that violates the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others; or that interferes with the operation or enjoyment of any service, system, or property.

Without limiting the above, you agree that you shall not, nor shall you permit or enable third parties to:

  • Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any Content or part of the Platform, its content, or materials;

  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Platform or Content;

  • Use automated devices or tools (such as bots, spiders, or web scrapers) to access, retrieve, or index any portion of the Platform or Services;

  • Access or retrieve Content for the purpose of creating or populating a searchable database of reviews or healthcare-related Content;

  • Reformat or frame any part of the Platform or Content;

  • Fraudulently or intentionally misuse the Services, including scheduling appointments with Healthcare Providers you do not intend to visit or booking services you do not plan to pay for;

  • Create accounts, book appointments, or submit information through automated means or under false pretenses, including impersonation or providing misleading information;

  • Use contact information of other users or Healthcare Providers for unsolicited communications (spam);

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations, including privacy laws;

  • Jeopardize the security of your account credentials or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or data;

  • Attempt to obtain passwords, security information, or access credentials from other users;

  • Breach or attempt to breach the security of any network or encryption;

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise try to access the source code or underlying ideas of the Services;

  • Collect or store personal data about other users in connection with prohibited activities; or

  • Use any software or means to scrape content from the Platform.

Any violation of these restrictions may result in termination of your access to the Services.


2. USER CONTENT

In accordance with our Terms of Use/Terms of Service, you may submit information (“Posted Information”) on your behalf or on behalf of someone you are authorized to represent. This can include feedback about Healthcare Providers, inquiries, or participation in interactive features. Please ensure the information you provide is honest, respectful, and does not include personal details that could identify you or others improperly.

We reserve the right to publish or remove your Posted Information at our discretion. We are not responsible for delays or failures in posting or removing content. Remember, user-generated content is subjective and should not be solely relied upon.

Specifically:

  • You are responsible for any Posted Information you submit or share.

  • You may not post content that infringes third-party rights or is unlawful.

  • You may not falsely imply endorsement by Materia+.

  • You may not submit illegal content or promote illegal activities.

  • Materia+ may review and delete content that violates our policies or could be offensive, illegal, or harmful.

  • Only submit truthful information.

  • Content you submit must not be false, misleading, harassing, violate privacy rights, contain personally identifying information, involve spam, infringe intellectual property rights, or be threatening, hateful, violent, discriminatory, obscene, defamatory, or explicit.


3. COPYRIGHT DISPUTE POLICY

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed upon in content submitted on Materia+, you may submit a notice following the Canadian Copyright Act by providing the following information:

  • Your signature or authorized representative’s signature;

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;

  • Identification of the infringing content and how to locate it;

  • Your contact details (address, phone number, email);

  • A good faith statement that the use is not authorized;

  • A declaration that the information is accurate, and you are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
