All providers undergo a thorough verification process before being listed in our marketplace.

Initially, we verify that they possess the necessary credentials and licenses for their specific specialties. Materia+ collaborates closely with both public and private regulatory organizations to ensure that all providers adhere to the standards set by these entities, maintain active membership, and are in good standing to practice. Their profiles will showcase their affiliations, certifications, and the status of their ability to practice. We confirm their healthcare specialty, educational background, and any board certifications mentioned in their profiles. Only after this verification are they authorized to join our marketplace. However, Materia+ makes no representations regarding a provider’s capacity to deliver medical or therapeutic care. For more details, please refer to our terms of service.

Materia+ aims to empower natural healthcare and its diverse holistic healing modalities. Unfortunately, in North American markets, alternative healthcare is often overshadowed by conventional approaches, leading to an underrepresentation of alternative healthcare providers, both organizationally and in terms of insurance coverage. Fortunately, this situation is beginning to change. We encourage you to advocate for the inclusion of miasmatic treatments in the portfolios of your insurance companies, so that we can collectively support responsible, and hard-working natural healthcare providers in the marketplace.

Providers on Materia+ undergo an annual or bi-annual re-verification process to reassess all the information that was initially verified when they joined the platform.

Moreover, to continue being listed on Materia+, providers are required to adhere to our Provider Standards, which you can learn more about here. Materia+ takes complaints about providers very seriously. Our Trust and Safety team thoroughly investigates any complaints, and based on their frequency and severity, Materia+ may take actions ranging from issuing a warning to fully removing the provider from the platform.
